Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Raises over $24,000

FCA used a variety of advertising methods to encourage donations during #CHAgives 2017 which included a video with local media personality to promote on social media, testimony videos of local students and coaches, and posts throughout #GivingTuesday to promote restaurant partners.

FCA also added donation button to all Facebook posts and encouraged staff and board members to post throughout the day on personal social media pages while Launching a new program for monthly donors.

The social media content shared during this campaign involved creating logos with sports silhouettes to use as profile pictures for the day as well as “did you know” posts that were used throughout the day. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes also used more traditional media with a framed explanation of #GivingTuesday posted on tables at restaurant partners as well as billboards at multiple locations around city.

Because of these efforts and generous donor-matching gifts, FCA was able to raise over $24,000 on #CHAgives / #GivingTuesday 2017.

Bethlehem Center Raises Over $9,700

Because of the generous support of Chattanoogans all over the city, the Bethlehem Center was able to raise $9,700 and counting on #CHAgives / #GivingTuesday 2017.

Proceeds came from over 40 individuals and groups that made donations through dance fundraiser “United We Dance” and the Center's website.

The Bethlehem Center thanks the city of Chattanooga, local media, everyone who donated, and sponsors: 1885, Crust Pizza, Dance Tonight Chattanooga, the East Gate Steppers, and Our House Studios, Inc.

The support helps the Bethlehem Center to continue its mission to provide education, life-changing experiences, and discipleship to support children and families through the Read to Lead Academy in South Chattanooga.
