Get ready for #CHAgives 2019
Planning and executing a successful Giving Tuesday campaign can be daunting. Your nonprofit needs inviting graphics, inspiring messaging, an engaging email strategy, and stand-out social media. Don’t panic: all this is achievable even without a budget or in-house expertise. Kathleen Murphy Toms, Director of Digital Strategy + Assistant Director of Community Engagement for Giving Tuesday, will share practical, tactical tips you can use to build success on Giving Tuesday.
Before joining Giving Tuesday, Kathleen founded and grew Illinois' statewide Giving Tuesday campaign called #ILGive, rallying thousands of Illinois nonprofits to raise $13.4 million collectively for Giving Tuesday. Her work focuses on teaching nonprofits best practices around digital fundraising, storytelling, and design marketing campaigns. Throughout this workshop, you will learn how to build your own campaign by setting goals, creating a work plan, organizing a campaign team and using the resources at your disposal to make #GivingTuesday work for you.
Please join us on Thursday, September 26th, from 4:30-6:00 PM at Causeway's new space (701 Cherry Street, Chattanooga, TN) for an interactive workshop & happy hour with Kathleen.
Whether you are a #GivingTuesday and #CHAgives veteran or just curious about starting your own campaign, this is an awesome opportunity for anyone involved with a Chattanooga-area nonprofit to learn how to run a successful giving day campaign while engaging and collaborating with other local NPO leaders.
This event is free of charge and hosted by the CHAgives Community Campaign Steering Committee. Drinks and snacks will be provided..
